Have you ever wondered what "et ux" means when it is added after a person's name?  I have seen some very imaginative guesses!  Here is a link to a webpage that explains the meaning of "et ux" and a lot of other strange terminology from the Colonial days in America.  If your ancestors trace back to the American colonies, you will want to bookmark this page.
